What is it about?
Bubblegum Crisis (1987): This 8-part OVA (Original Video Animation, or made-for-video) series is set in the giant megalopolis of MegaTokyo in the year 2033. The story chronicles the battles of four women in power armor against an evil mega-corporation called GENOM. BGC is one of the most popular series among fans of Japanese animation (“anime”), as well as fans of the cyberpunk genre.
Bubblegum Crash (1991): 3 episodes of 45 minutes. After taking time off, The Knight Sabers are back in action, thanks to a string of robberies performed by an evil organization called the Illegal Army, who takes up arms and destroys the peace in MegaTokyo.
