Hard Times (1975)

What is it about?

A silent drifter lets his fists do the talking in the gritty underworld of Depression-era New Orleans. Chaney (Charles Bronson) rides the rails into town and teams up with a fast-talking hustler named Speed (James Coburn) to make quick cash in the brutal circuit of illegal bare-knuckle boxing. As Chaney knocks out opponents with stoic efficiency, Speed’s gambling debts put them both in the crosshairs of local mobsters, forcing them to bet everything on one final, high-stakes fight against a seemingly unbeatable street legend.
