Ash – Acoustic Live

What is it about?

“I’ve been wanting to do this for a while, just an acoustic improvisation of some of my tracks. The piano was the first instrument I learned when I was 6 years old and when I’m caught up in my production process, I sometimes forget how much I used to enjoy just sitting on my piano and jamming for a bit. Before I started incorporating electronic elements in my music, I was only composing on my piano. Now, I love this process of just improvising on the go with the piano, guitar and sax. It’s definitely not always musically perfect, but it gives me so much freedom to experiment with new melodies around the ones that you already know from these tracks. Listening to acoustic sessions from other musicians always calms me down and touches my soul, I hope I can do the same for you.”
